Publishers Restrict Libraries Lending eBooks


HarperCollins Publishers will now restrict how many times a library can rent out an eBook. Public libraries have been receiving an overwhelming amount of demand for eBooks and the new rules would cost them much more. The eBooks only last 26 rentals before it needs to be repurchased.
