Google is developing a digital newsstand that would bring electronic versions of popular publications to devices running the Android operating system. The effort comes as a challenge to Apple which already sells many major publications through iTunes. Google plans on taking a smaller cut on publication sales than Apple as an incentive to drive publishers to the platform. Read the full article at WSJ.com
