A Palestinian man, Walid Husayin, faces life in prison after spreading anti-Islam views on social networks like Facebook. The owner of the Internet café where Husayin often blogged reported him to authorities and the Palestinian government monitored Husayin for several weeks before his arrest. In the Middle East it’s not uncommon for authorities to create fake Facebook profiles to monitor its citizens and arrest offenders.
