Watch 3D TV, Without The Glasses
Toshiba unveiled two new 3D TVs that don’t require glasses for viewing. Consumers may be more likely to buy sets that don’t require glasses for their homes, but these first models are limited. Viewers have to sit within 3 feet of the screen and the 3D effect is only viewable within a 40-degree area in front of the set.

Google TV Has New Content Partners
Google TV announced its major content partners as it nears its upcoming Fall launch. Partnerships have been made with companies like HBO, CNBC and Twitter, while content from networks like NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox is notably missing. In addition to offering web content on the TV, Google TV is working with partners to deliver shows on-demand and build apps for the TV set.

T-Mobile Will Carry Windows 7 Smartphones
T-Mobile U.S. will join AT&T in carrying Microsoft’s new Windows 7 smartphones. The number of smartphones running Microsoft’s OS fell by 5.5 percent in the second quarter and Microsoft is hoping that its Windows 7 phones will help boost its share of the smartphone business. Increasing distribution with carriers like T-Mobile will be key to its success.

Twitter’s CEO Steps Down
In a surprising move, Twitter co-founder Evan Williams has decided to step down from his position as CEO of the company. Twitter’s COO Dick Costolo will replace Williams as CEO. Williams will still be working at the company and will focus on product strategy.
