Stable Diffusion Porn

Stable Diffusion Porn

“Porn leads tech” is axiomatic, so it should surprise no one that some of the earliest, most innovative (and most provocative) images being created using the open source AI image generator Stable Diffusion are NSFW.

I won’t provide links here, but it will take you no time to find all of the AI image-generated porn you can view. As you can imagine (but don’t have to, as you can search for it), the images range from AI-generated celebrities to cartoon characters. (One with Muppets made me laugh out loud. Who says research is boring?)

If you want to experiment with AI-image generation, download Stable Diffusion and run it on your computer. If you’re not technically-inclined, visit Mage, where you can describe whatever comes to mind; it will use Stable Diffusion to generate images for you.

Where will this lead? Virtual worlds are going to get interesting. Porn is already a main use case for VR. There are a number of projects connecting physical devices to enhance user experience, so that’s another branch of tech integration… and on, and on, and on.

I’m not advocating you become a consumer or connoisseur of AI-generated pornographic content, but the adult industry is a leader in practical applications of technology. It brought us some of the first high quality video streaming sites and apps, 3D, VR, 360 video, paywalls and payment gateways, token gating, and countless other workflows and processes that eventually found their way into mainstream commerce. So… I guess I am advocating that you become an observer of the industry (for research purposes only).

After you get an idea of what is possible, learn how to apply this technology to your world. The improvements in AI are increasing at an exponential rate; the time to get into this is right now.
