Shelly Palmer Radio Report – October 25, 2013

Pairing great music to your meal is almost as important as pairing a good wine, but sometimes it’s hard to nail the perfect soundtrack for your evening. That’s where Supper, a new Spotify app, comes into play. Supper offers mouth-watering recipes alongside hand-crafted playlists that match the mood or heritage of your dish. Start off by picking out a menu from the app. There aren’t too many recipes right now, but the app refreshes and regularly and everything included looks delicious. Once you know what you want to cook, tap on the recipe to get going as Spotify starts up a playlist put together by the recipe’s author. Supper makes sure to keep everything accessible in one place, so whether you need to double-check the recipe or just want to skip a track, everything can be found on one page. Once you’re ready to eat, use Spotify to start up the recipe’s second playlist – one designed to complement your meal while you chow down. Bon Appétit!
