Apple’s iOS 6 literally just dropped, but ticketing purveyors including Major League Baseball are already taking advantage of Passbook, the operating system’s digital ticket storing system. MLB Advanced Media on Wednesday announced that Passbook is immediately available for the remainder of the 2012 season for the remaining regular season home games of four pro ball clubs: the San Francisco Giants, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox and Kansas City Royals.
