Facebook reached a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission that requires the site to ask for users’ consent before changing privacy settings. The FTC made a total of eight allegations towards Facebook, including making users’ private information public without their consent. In other news, Google announced that it’s taking Google Maps indoors. You can now access floor plans of select airports, malls and retailers like Macy’s, Home Depot and Ikea.
