Amazon Net Sales Increase 51%

Amazon reported its second-quarter earnings and despite a drop of 7.7%, the online retailer increased its net sales by 51%. The disparity between Amazon’s earnings and sales is due to a 54% increase in operating expenses. Even though earnings dropped, Amazon’s stocks were up 6.8% after trading was over on Tuesday.
