A recent Comscore report reveals that one in three smartphones in the U.S. runs Google’s Android operating system. The study was a three-month average, showing 7% growth for Android handsets. E-Mail Database Hacked
Marketing firm Epsilon had its e-mail database hacked, containing names and addresses of major corporations’ customers. Epsilon sends out marketing e-mails for companies like CitiBank, JPMorgan Chase and the Home Shopping Network. New Planets
NASA’s Kepler spacecraft has discovered a total of 1,235 planets previously undiscovered. The planets are discovered by monitoring a dip in stars’ brightness as the planets pass by them.
