AI Everyone Can Use

Microsoft is getting closer to wide release of its OpenAI Service. This service is the commercialization of their business relationship with OpenAI and it is focused on GPT-3. According to Microsoft, “The new Azure OpenAI Service enables customers to access powerful language models for a range of use cases from summarization to content and code generation, with built-in responsible AI controls, and enterprise-grade security and compliance, only available on Azure.”

Microsoft’s OpenAI Service is a dramatic lowering of the barrier to entry for building all kinds of new, very useful, productivity enhancing applications. Said differently, it’s the beginning of a new era in human/machine partnerships. Take a few minutes to understand how firms of any size can put this technology to work to force multiply their capabilities, then think about how you can apply it.
