VonageVonage’s mobile app has been rather quiet on the major updates as of late. Aside from a few minor updates that didn’t even get a mention in the changelog, the company’s last change included audio quality improvements on Android and Apple devices, which carried the version number of 2.2.2. This drought has been brought to a end with version 2.3.1, which adds a couple of very notable features, including video voicemail on Android and video messaging on both Android and iOS. Video voicemail allows users to leave a voicemail in the event of a missed call, while video messaging adds the ability to record or choose a pre-recorded video message to send to other Vonage Mobile users from your device. These new features act as sort of an extension to the video calling feature which was added in April.
