Major Internet service providers have come to an agreement with entertainment organizations to help fight copyright infringement. ISPs will now issue a series of warnings to customers breaking copyrights, including the suspension of service. While the system isn’t actual law, ISPs hope it will help reduce the violations. In other news, PayPal struck a deal with mobile payment company Zong, which will allow users to make purchases with their cellphones. The service is partnered with major wireless carriers so customers can pay for goods by adding the cost to their phone bill. By combining the service with PayPal, users can make purchases without a bank account. And finally, Apple recently announced that the App Store has surpassed 15 billion downloads for iPhone and iPad apps. There are now over 200 million iOS users helping contribute to 23% year-over-year growth. App developers have been paid $2.5 billion in three years.
