Google is expected to make an announcement that will turn our cell phones into wallets. The technology utilizes near-field communication, which is a chip that transmits data wirelessly. The system we be available starting on the Android Nexus S smartphone and will roll out with support from Citibank. In other news, if you are tired of both the iPhone and Android, Nokia is planning on releasing new Windows Phone 7 devices at a frequent clip. Windows has added over 500 new features to the operating system and will eventually become Nokia’s main smartphone OS.  And finally, Sony is still recovering from recent attacks on its PlayStation Network and is now offering free identity theft protection. Customers have until June 28th to enroll in the program and it’s good for one year of fraud protection. You can enroll online at Sony’s website.
