Rumor has it that Google will be launching a music download service by Christmas. It’s expected that the music store will be a cloud-based subscription service and will be heavily integrated with Google’s Android mobile operating system. Watch out iTunes!

Adult Services Censored on Craigslist
Craigslist has blocked access to its “adult services” section, replacing the link with the word “censored.” Craigslist has been under pressure from the attorneys general of 17 States to remove the section from the site. It is unknown whether the “adult services” classified ads will be temporarily unavailable or permanently removed from Craigslist.

Facebook Tests a New Feature
Facebook is testing a new feature that allows users to subscribe to receive alerts when specified friends take certain actions on the site, like updating their status or posting new content. The feature is currently being tested by a limited number of users. Will this be service that allows users an easy way to keep up with family and friends, or a new way to stalk people online?

Reporter Purposely Lied on Twitter
Mike Wise, a reporter at The Washington Post, intentionally used Twitter to post false information. Wise’s intent was to show how people don’t check their facts, but Wise underestimated the power of Twitter as a place for accurate news and information. One tweet quickly weakened Wise’s credibility as well as the paper’s reputation.
