CBS is set to begin selling shows on iTunes for $0.99. The move comes just as Apple prepares to launch the iPad, a device which may transform mobile TV viewing. The move cuts the price of digital TV shows in half, making TV shows more affordable for users to download.

Amazon unveiled a free Kindle app for the BlackBerry yesterday. The popular eReader app is now available on seven BlackBerry hand sets, and will allow users to access books from their Kindle even if they don’t have their device with them. While the app is free and available, it does not yet support newspaper articles, magazines or blogs.

Comcast is giving broadband customers free cloud storage space. The communications company is providing up to 2GB for free to subscribers, with 50GB going for $50.00.
