Samsung

Samsung is having a great year.  It is the number one seller of flat screens in the world and the only one of the top five TV manufacturers to enjoy a year-over-year increase in sales.  Right now, Samsung is focused on Connected Living.  Its goal is for Samsung’s devices to share and play together to create a connected world in harmony with you. All of the company’s smartphones, tablets, TVs, laptops, or digital cameras are designed to know that there are other Samsung connected devices around.  This lets your music, videos, photos and other content flow freely between them. So you can catch the action on one device and view it on another. All of this cross-platform content sharing is handled through Samsung’s AllShare Play app. The app lets you share select music, videos and photos across your smartphone, Galaxy Tab, PC and Smart TV, all over your wireless network. The best part of all? It’s all super simple to do. After launching the app on your device, you select the music, movie or photo you want to share. Once you’ve done that, just push it to another device and start enjoying! Alternatively, you can also pull content to your device from another connected phone, tablet or whatever else you may have. Sharing has never been so easy. Samsung’s cross-platform connectivity extends beyond sharing, though. You can use your smartphone like a remote for your Samsung TV and mirror what you’re watching on your mobile device. Say you’re out back, grilling up some steaks, but your favorite show is on. No problem – mirror it to your tablet, carry it outside, and extend your living room. Can’t find your remote? Use your connected device.  When Samsung says “connected living” it really means “connected.”
