Apple’s event yesterday not only unveiled the iPad Mini but a whole slew of new hardware. What’s new and worth your time? The Mini, as expected, has a 7.9 inch screen, with the same resolution and processing power as the iPad 2. The big surprise is that it also offers LTE on Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. It starts at $329 for the 16 gig Wi-Fi model and ranges up to $659 for the 64 gig LTE model. Orders for the Wi-Fi models begin Friday and ship on November 2, with the LTE models following two weeks later. Apple also announced a fourth-gen iPad, with twice the juice as the third-gen model, Wi-Fi that’s twice as fast, a Lightning connector and Sprint LTE capabilities. 13 inch MacBook Pros can now come equipped with a Retina Display, the iMacs are thinner and more powerful than ever, and even the Mac Mini even got a bump in power. Get your wallets ready to replace all your now obsolete Apple hardware.
