Say goodbye to Apple’s MobileMe. Previously known as .Mac and iTools, the online services tool will disappear on June 30, 2012.  Apple began to encourage users to migrate to their new service, iCloud, late last year. Still haven’t made the switch? No sweat. Just follow the instructions at me.com/move but beware: a few services included with MobileMe will be left behind for good. Galleries, iDisk, and iWeb will cease to exist come July. And while Apple is abandoning you, instead of Galleries try Flickr, Picasa, Snapfish or any of the other thousand sites made exclusively for photo and video sharing. Instead of using iDisk try one of my very favorite products, Dropbox. Google users can also use Google Drive and fans of Microsoft can use SkyDrive for file storage in the cloud. Getting away from iWeb, Apple’s web hosting tool is a little more complicated. You’ll have to change your web host, which can get a little technical.
