Much to the chagrin of overweight people nationwide, the Supreme Court recently ruled that full-body airport scanners are not unconstitutional. Fortunately for those of us embarrassed by our two-seat physiques, the TSA announced that our naked images would now be blurred by a software update. The scanner upgrade will roll out in the coming months. In other news, before you upgrade to Apple’s newest operating system OS X Lion, make sure the programs you rely on are compatible. A slew of programs including the popular audio editing software Pro Tools simply won’t work. Unless you’re dying for Apple’s newest offering, hold off until it’s been vetted. And finally, a recent survey reveals that less than 50% of smartphone users actually use the phone to make calls. Text messaging and emails are the preferred method of communication by nearly 90% of respondents. People love to talk, just not to each other.
