Netflix recently announced that it’s separating streaming and physical rental plans and raising its prices. For $7.99 you can now choose either unlimited streaming or unlimited, one DVD at a time rentals. If you want to keep your DVD rentals and streaming, it will now cost you about $16. In other news, U.S. law-enforcement agencies are obtaining search warrants to access user’s Facebook accounts. The FBI, DEA and ICE have requested photos, wall posts and even rejected Friend requests. None of these requests have been challenged as unlawful searches, since those searched don’t ever know about it. And finally, British authorities recently stated that al Qaeda has called for a “cyber jihad” after the death of Osama bin Laden. Authorities believe that the actual threat is low, but is more likely to become a growing problem. Past attempts consisted of sending malicious emails to the likes of Google and NASA.
