The FBI is now investigating Google’s claim that Chinese hackers are attempting to steal Gmail users’ passwords. This isn’t the first attack on Google coming from China, but these attempts targeted U.S. government officials. China’s government says that the accusations are a complete fabrication and Google has ulterior motives. In other news, if you live in Tennessee and share your Netflix account with a friend, you’re now considered a criminal. The state passed a law that makes the theft of entertainment subscription services a crime, including sharing an account with someone outside your household. The harshest penalty includes jail time. And finally, daily deals website Groupon.com recently filed for its initial public offering. The company hopes to raise another $750 million dollars, fueling the fastest growing company ever. Groupon earned nearly as much in the first quarter of this year as they did in all of 2010.
