92 Percent of Babies in U.S. Have An Online Presence
Ninety-two percent of American children, under the age of two, have an online presence according to a new study from Internet security firm AVG. Often, photos of babies are uploaded and shared on sites like Facebook with the child’s full name, birth date and even mother’s maiden name. AVG warns that this information could lead to identity theft later in a child’s life.

Cisco’s High-End Videoconferencing For the Home
Cisco Systems has introduced a new high-end videoconference system for the home. The “Umi” is aimed to compete with video chat services like Skype, but while Skype’s service is free, the umi retails for $599 plus a $24.99 monthly fee. The biggest difference between Cisco’s umi and other online videoconferencing services is the quality. When using umi a user experiences less frequent pixelationions and interruptions.

Are the iPhone/Verizon Rumors True?
Is the iPhone really coming to Verizon?  The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple is going to begin mass-producing a new iPhone that will start selling at Verizon in early 2011.  Not much is known about the new iPhone, but it is said that it will work on CDMA networks and will be distinctly different from the iPhones available at AT&T.

Amazon is opening its own app store for Android devices. The store will directly compete with Apple’s App Store as well as Google’s Android Market. Amazon is requiring developers to put up any apps they have elsewhere and also stipulates that apps they add to Amazon’s store cannot be sold for a lower price anywhere else.
