Verizon Droid X Sold Out

Droid X Sold Out: The iPhone 4 isn’t the only phone that’s impossible to find these days. Motorola’s brand new Droid X is now sold out online and in scarce supply at most Verizon retail stores. The new phone should start shipping again on July 27th. 


Boxee Set-Top Box Has Landed: Boxee posted a new video this weekend, showing off its long-awaited set-top box. The new device, which brings web-video to your TV, is compact by set-top box standards. Boxee’s first offering is slated to hit stores this fall and will cost about $200.


Can Your Home Network Be Hacked?: A new report called, “How to Hack Millions of Routers,” will be presented at an upcoming security conference. It highlights how millions of consumer routers are vulnerable to hackers, including routers by Netgear, Linksys and Belkin and some of the most popular router companies on the market. The fix will probably be a firmware upgrade … and you know how much fun they can be.



Antennagate Continues: Antennagate continued this weekend, as Steve Jobs spoke out against reports that the iPhone 4 is inherently flawed. Jobs, who admitted that there are reception issues when held a specific way, offered customers affected by the problem free iPhone cases, noting “this has been so blown out of proportion.” Meanwhile, Apple is still experiencing production delays with the white iPhone, which is now slated to arrive by the “end of July.”
