COMCAST has purchased Fandango, the online movie ticket service, with plans to launch Fancast.com. Fancast will deliver TV shows and movies on-demand.

FCC Chairman Kevin J. Martin has circulated a proposal to extend “must carry” analog rights to the digital realm. The transition to digital is less than two years away.
