Apple Reportedly Plans Major Overhaul Of iTunes Music Store

Apple is planning a major overhaul of the iTunes music store, Bloomberg reports, citing “people with direct knowledge of the matter.” The changes, expected to be unveiled by year end, will reportedly better integrate iTunes with the Apple iCloud file-storage service to allow easier access to music and other conten across multiple devices. The story says Apple also plans new features for sharing music; the company reportedly has been negotiating with music labels for rights that would let a user listen to a song sent to them from a friend for free.
