Google Building ‘Ultra High-Speed’ Network

Google has hired networking expert and early proponent of TCP/IP, Milo Medin, as vice president of access services. The move comes with a push for the completion of Google’s own high-speed fiber network that will be ready for trial in select communities early next year. Google is boasting Internet speeds up to 100 times faster than current fiber networks and Milo Medin might be the person to make this fantasy a reality. Read the full story at WSJ.com
